2. Josef Bican

The legendary striker scored an amazing 395 goals in 217 games for Slavia Prague from 1937 to 1948.
He also played for several clubs in Czechia and scored a remarkable number of goals for them too.
For more than 60 years, Bican held the title of football’s top goalscorer of all time, but now he has been surpassed.
It’s believed he scored nearly 1,500 goals in total during his career, but only 805 of those are officially recognized by FIFA.
3. Lionel Messi

Messi is a true soccer legend who has won tons of trophies, along with scoring lots of goals. He’s even won a record-breaking eight Ballon d’Or awards.

5. Pele
757 goals in 831 games – 1957-1977
Pele is considered one of the greatest soccer players ever, and he won the World Cup three times.
He only played for two clubs during his career while he led Brazil to victory.
Pele scored almost a goal per game in his 656 official matches for Santos, although he claims to have scored more than 1,000 times. However, many of those goals were scored in exhibition matches or friendlies. Pele himself would have said otherwise!
Sadly, Pele passed away in 2022, but his legacy continues to influence the world of soccer.
