Android 7.0 Nougat is booming across the globe with the privileged Nexus lineup being the first Android devices to receive this stunning firmware before every smartphone. Google has now updated the AOSP source with the latest Android 7.0 OS. Developers and contributors have already started porting this startling Nougat OS onto their own devices. We have already posted various AOSP ROM ports for the same in the previous tutorials. Here, we have listed the devices receiving the upcoming CyanogenMod 14 ROM. Of course, these CM 14 ROMS are unofficial as the official builds are not yet available. However here, we get to see the latest CM 14 UI and features before the actual launch. UPDATE: Download CyanogenMod 14 for OnePlus 3, 2, X, Android One Sprout 4, HTC one M8, Xiaomi Note 3, Sprout 8 and much more devices.
The CyanogenMod 14 ROM is now live for some of the Android devices. Cyanogen Inc. has not yet released the official CM 14 source code and they may be expected soon. Now as we know CyanogenMod builds are indeed based on the latest AOSP firmware. Based on the previous CM 13 release dates, the new ROM should not take more than a week or two from now. Luckily, we have the unofficial CM 14 builds ready for us. Courtesy of XDA member Sarthak, the first device to receive the CM 14 port is the OnePlus X. The ROM brings quite a few UI tweaks, some additional features, and functionalities as well. Not to forget the latest AOSP security patch level as well. Moreover, the first Android phones to receive the official CM 14 will be Nexus 6P/5X/5/9/7 and much more. So stay tuned as we will keep updating this post with support for more Android devices as they are available.

Google Apps (gapps) for CyanogenMod 14 Android 7.0
CyanogenMod 14 ROMS don’t come with google apps pre-installed. You will need to flash the gapps package externally. Simply download gapps from above and flash via TWRP after the CM 14 ROM. Sometimes the Gapps may cause booting issues. So you may boot the ROM first and later install gapps for Nougat.

Download latest TWRP 3.0+ for all Android devices

- Warning: Once you root or install a custom ROM, your warranty may be void and trip KNOX counter for Samsung. Even though the ROM has been tested by some users, you should still be cautious about it and sometimes come across major issues. This is an unofficial AOSP procedure/ROM. Reader’s discretion is advised.
How to Install CyanogenMod 14 ROM on your Android device?
Prerequisites
- Unlocked Bootloader is a must. Most likely to setup a custom TWRP recovery. If you alreasy have it, then flash the CM 14 ROMS right away.
- Latest build from TWRP is highly recommended. Get the TWRP from the download section and head over here to know how to flash it.
Installation Instructions for CM 14
Here is are brief instructions to install custom ROM via TWRP. For a full tutorial, see: How to Install Custom ROM using TWRP?
Step 1: Download the CM 14 ROM and the compatible Google Apps from above. For root access, download the SuperSU package as well.
Step 2: Transfer all the necessary files to your device’s internal storage or SDcard.
Step 3: Reboot into TWRP recovery.
Step 3: Take full Nandroid backup: Backup partitions- system, data, boot, recovery, EFS and cache(optional).
Step 4: Wipe the current system.
Step 5: Tap Install, navigate to the AOSP ROM zip file and select it. Confirm action.
Step 6: Similarly, flash the compatible Google apps and SuperSU zip files.
Step 7: Reboot to system.
How to restore your Android back to stock?
Restore TWRP backup:
Just in case your device doesn’t boot up or it gets stuck in bootloop, you can either restore the TWRP backup you just took or simply flash the factory image or stock firmware onto your Android device to revert back to stock.
Flash Factory Image / stock firmware:
Now remember, different manufacturers have factory image files and each one has different flashing procedure. For instance, you get factory images for Nexus, Motorola, OnePlus, etc. devices.
