Magisk has been troubling with the constantly updating SafetyNet protocol by Google into the Android system. After the Magisk v13.2 was released, Google updated the SafetyNet sources making Magisk Manager ineffective in bypassing the same. We have already posted a manual method to bypass the SafetyNet earlier. However, with the Magisk v13.3 now available for download, the SafetyNet check is effective again. As it comes to us officially, you don’t need to put any extra efforts. All you need is grab the latest Magisk v13.3 zip and flash via TWRP recovery.
What is SafetyNet?
SafetyNet is a set of services and APIs integrated into the AOSP sources to protect Android apps and devices against security threats. This ensures the Android app developers to keep their apps from tinkering or abusing. If the SafetyNet is found broken, by things like root, TWRP, or custom ROMS, then the apps stop working. This ensures that banking apps or secure apps like Snapchat won’t be modified.

This is where Magisk v13.3 comes into play. The tool bypasses the SafetyNet test and lets apps run regardless if the device is rooted or not. It’s not just SafetyNet check that Magisk is useful in. It is a popular rooting tool as well.
