Update: Official Android 9 Pie released by Google for the Pixel devices. The Android P-ify is being updated to bring advanced 9.0 Pie features to all the Android devices. Some of the newest features may not be present at this moment. But with future updates, we will see all the Android P features.
The first Android P Developer Preview has been released with many new features and revamped user interface. The UI is now more vibrant with colorful new icons in the settings. The quick toggles/settings panel has also been re-designed with more round icons. One of the best features is the volume slider position near the volume buttons placed vertically. You will also see a completely new Android system design. So download and install the Android P-ify Xposed module to get Android P features on your Oreo enabled device.
The Android P 9.0 preview build is only available for Google’s very own smartphones called the Pixel 1 and Pixel 2. As Android OS is open source, a lot of developers are porting the new Android P apps, features, launcher, wallpapers, ringtones, etc. onto their own devices. Moreover, with the help of an Xposed module called Android P-ify, you can port all the Android P 9.0 features, UX, etc. to your Android phone.
As Android P-ify is an Xposed module, you will need the latest Xposed framework v90 or later installed. Also, the module only supports Android 8.0 or 8.1 Oreo for now. So stay tuned for more updates. Before you install, go through the feature list, screenshots, and bugs list from below.

The main moto of Android P is simplicity, speed, and many new ways to extend your apps. Some of the Android P features include MessagingStyle and other notification updates, imageDecoder for bitmaps and drawables, data cost sensitivity in JobScheduler, display cutout APIs, multi-camera APIs, etc. More such feature can be seen here.
As the Android P-ify is still in alpha state, encountering some bugs is normal. Some of the known bugs include –
- Android P-ify’s first builds only support Oreo for now
- Android 8.0 Oreo may contain Some different settings icons
- This Xposed module might not work ROMs such as Samsung Experience, LG UX and OxygenOS.
- As the above ROMs are heavily modified, you may come across some issues. So make sure you are using this module on AOSP based ROMS, LineageOS 15.1, Resurrection Remix v6, DU, etc ROMS.
Android 9.0 Pie Feature Port: Install Android P-ify Xposed Module
Pro tip: Combine Android P-ify with Rootless Pixel launcher, or Android P Launcher to get full 9.0 Pie like user interface.
Step 1: Make sure your device is rooted with latest TWRP recovery installed. Read – How to unlock bootloader, flash TWRP, and root Android? For Samsung devices click here.
Step 2a: Ensure that Xposed Framework is installed on your Android device running 8.0/8.1 Oreo. Read: Detailed tutorial on how to install Xposed for Android.
Step 2b: There are two ways you can install Xposed, one is the above by flashing Xposed Installer zip via TWRP recovery and the other is simply installing the Xposed module from the latest Magisk Manager. If you already have Magisk installed, then go to modules and install the latest Xposed module from there.
Step 3: Now, download latest Xposed module called Android P-ify APK and transfer all the files to phone’s internal storage or SD card. Download Android P-ify APK:

Step 4: Install the Android P-ify APK normally.
Step 5: Launch the Xposed Framework app. You can also go to modules and add the new module Android P-ify to your Xposed app.
Step 6: Go to the modules section in Xposed and activate the Gravity box module. Reboot device once and launch the new module and start tweaking.
Remember that if anything goes wrong, you can always uninstall the Xposed Framework and all the settings will be restored. Simply flash the Xposed uninstaller zip via TWRP.
